here are a few tips I have learned along the way: lime green back grounds don't work, size 29 font just ain't cutting it, black links on black back grounds are not wise, using fonts that other people don't have just isn't good, cause if they ain't got it, they can't see it, use something like "verdana" "arial" or something like that wild patterned backgrounds aren't good. originality is good, suttle font colors are nice.. just try to keep the loading time down, and too many graphics on one page isn't good.
